I know that many of us are stuck in quarantine without access to local rope groups, hard points, spotters, or experienced rope enthusiasts. This class is geared towards getting you as ready as possible to self-suspend before you give it a go after the lockdown is lifted. Kim will go over the equipment you’ll need to purchase ahead of time, what you want to have around for your first few tries of being in the air, and there will be two tie-along harnesses for self-suspension (one chest harness and one hip harness). If there is time, Kim will also go over how to attach an upline to your harness. You will still need to learn about uplines before you give self-suspension a try, but this class should give you all the building blocks to make your first time a success when you’re able to go to your first rope lab!
